February, 25, 2017. Milton, ON: The Coldest Night of the Year, a family-friendly annual fundraising walk, took place this evening. Hundreds of people gathered together to hear Milton Transitional Housing’s Donna Danielli speak about why the annual fundraiser is so important. Beginning and finishing at the Milton Sports Centre, participants bundled up to walk either a 2, 5, or 10 kilometre route to support Milton Transitional Housing in their mission to provide bridge accommodation and supportive counseling to those in our community who are facing homelessness. Hot soup, warm drinks and sweet treats met walkers after crossing the finish line.
