In the month of June the Halton Regional Police Service investigated 20 motor vehicle collisions at intersections along Derry Road in the Town of Milton.
The intersections at Trafalgar Road, James Snow Parkway, Thompson Road, Ontario Street and Bronte Street each had four collisions in June.
Seventy percent of the crashes involved rear end collisions.
Officers from #12 Division-Milton will be stepping up enforcement at these busy intersections to target offenders and discourage dangerous driving habits.
Motorists are reminded that community safety is a shared responsibility and road users need to eliminate distractions, obey traffic control signals and speed limits and drive according to traffic, road and weather conditions.
If any citizen would like to report a traffic concern they can do so by visiting our website and submitting an online traffic complaint, https://www.haltonpolice.ca/services/reporting/trafficcomplaints.php.
