Public input invited for park redevelopment in Campbellville

Milton playground.

An existing park, known as Campbellville “New” Park, will be undergoing improvements and public input is being sought to help shape future experiences in the park. The session takes place on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. (presentation at 6:30 p.m.) at the Nassagaweya Tennis Centre & Community Hall, 9267 Guelph Line. Online comments are also being welcomed with a survey available until March 22 at www.milton.ca/campbellvillenewpark.

“Our parks and natural spaces are some of our most valuable community assets”, said Milton Mayor Gord Krantz. “I encourage everyone to provide input so that we can pursue redevelopment of the park and ensure we meet the needs of the community.”

Possible enhancements to the park include improvements to the baseball field, parking lot, and site drainage along with a new playground, site furnishings and minor upgrades to the concession building. Proposed design concepts will be available for review and comments at a second input session on Wednesday, April 19 as well as online.
